DG MNL : David Guison Interview ::

You guys have no idea about what I'm feeling right now. haha. Well, I can't even understand it and I can't even put it to words. Just... Dude! It's DAVID GUISON!haha And I am so IN LOVE. Why o why???? ♥_♥ XD

Anyway, here's the interview!! :)

1.What's a typical day for David Guison?

- Wake up early, hit the gym, head to Makati/Ortigas for meetings, take outfit photos for my blog in the afternoon, find a quiet coffee shop to answer emails, do my thesis, go to school for night classes!

2.Describe your aesthetics.

- Minimal, modern design, nature-inspired, anything actually! I find beauty in the most random things/places.

3.Who are your fashion influences?

-Kanye West, James Dean, Zac Efron

4. What makes your style different from others?

-Hmm, I think my style is very safe and boring haha! My style doesn't really stand out but it has sense of style, somehow. So I guess it's good enough! Also I like wearing earth tones, dark clothes and add hints of color (e.g. printed, colorful socks, neon watches etc)

5.How does Philippine men's fashion compare to other Asian countries?

- I got so inspired when I went to Singapore a few months ago and saw the stylish guys my age walking around the city! I say we're getting there! We got so much style and talent here in the Philippines and we're all watching it grow!

6.Where's your favorite shopping spots? aside from what you're endorsing.

- Even if I wasn't an endorser of the brands I'm promoting now, I'd still be shopping in those shops! TRUTH!!!

7. Give a random fact about David Guison.

- I used to join dance competitions! Hahahhaa

The Scene Stealer : Lissa Kahayon Interview ::

Lissa Kahayon is a model, fashion blogger, and freelance fashion stylist. I first found out about her after following David Guison on tumblr. The moment I saw her blog, I just fell in love with her style -- espeially her shoes! She's pretty and I really get that 'she's really nice' vibe. :) Here's the little Q&A. Hope you enjoy reading! :)

Q: Tell us something about Lissa Kahayon.

A: I'm 22 years old and the eldest of 3 children. I graduated with honors from DLSU Manila with a degree of Behavioral Science. My first job was an assistant to Liz Uy, I'm the co-owner of Lovevintagemanila and I do freelance styling.

Q: How do you describe your personal style? Where/who do you draw your inspirations from?

A: It's moody, unpredictable and can be weird at times. I get inspiration from the things and people around me. I also get inspiration from what I read on books and magazines.

Q: Explain style in your own words.

A: Style is an expression of one's self. You get to share a part of who you are without having to say a word.

Q: How long have you been interested in the fashion industry? What made you pursue?

A: Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to take up fashion in college but my dad didn't want me to. That didn't stop me from pursuing my love for fashion so I started blogging when I was in 2nd year College and I managed my online store that sells clothes.

Q: What accessory or apparel do you love to over wear? Why?

A: My blazers and corsets- they're very easy to style and can go from day to night.

Q: If you were to design a gown for a red carpet event, what would it look like? Who would you love to see wearing it?

A: Something sexy and sleek, for red carpet events, I prefer simple gowns that will highlight a woman's curves. I'd love to see Charlize Theron wearing it.
